This research project explores non-conformist fashion, focusing on definitions and information. Having grown up in a society that strongly encourages conformity in fashion, I've always admired those who express themselves differently. The goal of this proposal is to create interpretive narratives based on interviews with real fashion non-conformists, shedding light on their stories. Non-conformist choices in body modifications, makeup, hair, and personal style break mainstream fashion norms in Lebanon.

My process began with broad research on historical perspectives, alternative fashion, and non-conformist fashion, both globally and in Lebanon. I then explored various approaches for the project, considering interactive book design and wearable designs. To structure my project, I created keyword cards defining terms related to my potential work, each inspired by personas.
